Built of woods hand-picked by The Music Zoo on a trip to the Taylor factory in El Cajon, California – this is our 12-string Grand Symphony with a Florentine cutaway! The tonewoods chosen are premium bearclaw spruce for the top with Indian rosewood as the back and sides, all wrapped up in figured Hawaiian koa binding with a matching single ring rosette. To go with the light brown color of the binding, we have matching koa boxwood inlays for the Ocean Vine fretboard inlay and Taylor headstock logo. We thought a Grand Symphony was the perfect vehicle for a 12-string build with its bold piano-like bass notes and thicker-than-usual treble. Make this bold one of a kind Taylor yours!
