The Modern Deluxe is a take on the Martin Vintage Series, a selection of guitars packed with custom features that are a great mix of classic Martin and state of the art technology. This D-18 features a VTS Sitka spruce top with VTS Adirondack spruce bracing, and a dovetail neck joint with natural protein glue construction to give the guitars the tone and feel of Martins we love. Accouterments include natural wood binding, stylish gold frets and gold open-gear tuners, and tortoise shell pickguards add to the looks. Modern appointments really make this Modern Deluxe stand out; Liquidmetal bridge pins, a composite carbon fiber bridge plate, and titanium truss rod all add volume and punch without adding weight to the guitar!
