The NTX5 features Atmosfeel electrics, an innovative Yamaha system that has a 3-way sensor setup: a piezo under-saddle sensor, internal microphone, and a sheet sensor to pick up tone from the soundboard! A mic blend control allows you to blend the microphone signal with the piezo tone.
